Glen Grant Whisky

Glen Grant is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Rothes, where the distillery was founded in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant. Its position close to the River Spey, with good access to barley, water and transport, helped it become one of the region’s best-known names and an important part of Speyside’s whisky heritage.

Now owned by Campari Group, Glen Grant is known for a particularly fresh, elegant style shaped by tall, slender stills and purifier technology associated with James “The Major” Grant. These production choices help create a light, bright spirit with orchard fruit, malt sweetness, citrus and gentle floral notes rather than heavy peat or overt richness.

The range includes approachable expressions such as Arboralis and 10 Year Old, alongside older age-stated releases including 12, 15, 18 and 21 Year Old, with further limited and premium bottlings showing greater depth. Across the portfolio, the house style tends to favour clarity, poise and a clean Speyside fruitiness.
