Teeling is a modern Irish whiskey producer based in Dublin’s Liberties, an area with deep historic ties to the city’s distilling past. Founded by brothers Jack and Stephen Teeling, the brand helped lead the revival of whiskey-making in the capital when its distillery opened in 2015, the first new distillery in Dublin for well over a century.
Now majority-owned by Bacardi, with the Teeling family still closely involved in the business, the brand combines Irish whiskey tradition with a notably contemporary approach to maturation and cask selection. Its style is typically generous, approachable and flavour-led, with frequent use of rum, wine and fortified wine casks adding layers of fruit, spice and sweetness.
